2011 is shaping up to be Rosie Huntington-Whiteley‘s year. Her career as a Victoria’s Secret model keeps going from strength to strength, she’s about to make her big screen debut and she’s in love with hunky English hardman Jason Statham.
And on top of all that she’s been given the honour of topping men’s magazine Maxim’s Hot 100 list.
Huntington-Whiteley, 24, came up trumps on the list, while last year’s winner Katy Perry slipped down into third place.
Actress Olivia Munn, 30, who recently starred on her second cover for the magazine, came in second—a satisfactory improvement on last year’s 8th position.
Huntington-Whiteley, who has already started promoting her debut movie Transformers: Dark of the Moon, said it was a “huge honour” to top the list.
She stated: “It’s a great title to have for a year and you can have some fun with it, I think.”
Rosie isn’t the only Brit on the list, which also features the newest member of the Royal Family, Kate Middleton. The Duchess of Cambridge, as she is now known, came in at number 26—a higher ranking than Sophia Vergara, Brooklyn Decker and Nicole Scherzinger managed.
The full list includes is in the June edition of Maxim.
