Whiteley is a well known supermodel and her claim to fame has been her appearance as Victoria’s Secret swimsuit and lingerie model. She has represented top brands and also debuted in 2004 on the New York runways. Campaigns for Abercrombie & Fitch, Clinique, Bloomingdale’s, DKNY, L.A.M.B., French Connection, Pepe Jeans, Shiatzy Chen, Ralph Lauren and Top Shop have featured her among others. She has debuted as actress with “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” where she is the love interest of Shia LaBeouf and plays the character of Carly.
Her debut film has instantly shot her up to the position of the World’s Sexiest Woman and her steaming hot photo session for Maxim magazine has pushed the mercury up quite a bit. The photo shoot reminds of her modeling background and puts focus on her days as Victoria’s Secret model. She even bares her derriere in one of the shots.
Though she is known to be a down to earth girl she insists that fame has not got to her head and the glamour that she is now a part of does not reflect what or who she is. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is seen as someone who brings class to the movie filled with oversized auto gadgets.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley came into contact with Michael Bay, the director of Transformers series, while shooting for Victoria’s Secret ad campaign. She impressed Bay so much that after the exit of Megan Fox from the franchise’s third installment, she was offered the role of a completely new character, Carly, who becomes the love interest of Shia LaBeouf’s Character in the movie.
